Hi, I’m Katrina Marie, a Creative Entrepreneur, Fashion Designer, and Video Producer (Plus...Homeschooling Mom to 4)!
For as long as I can remember I’ve been a creative entrepreneur. I could say it started when I begin sewing at the young age of 5...
It's probably more accurate to say I was a little closer to 10 years old when I started trying to sell my creations, though.
My first business venture was making doll clothing to sell at a local craft fair. Then I got requests to make clothing for friends (for free and pay) in junior high. By high school I was making velvet and satin bridesmaid dresses for a local tailor shop.
But, my “real” business began when I got my first website made in 1996 (seems so long ago now). That website allowed me to reach a national and worldwide audience with my renaissance inspired gowns. I sold those designs in-person and online for over 20 years and still have a website up at Katrina Marie Designs.
My big career change came in 2010 (after becoming a mom for the second time) when I decided to create a series of videos to teach sewing to kids. That website is still up at Kidssewingdvds.com, but I mostly sell the online version now. Yes, 10 years after producing my first video series, I still sell it!
Since then I’ve created dozens of online sewing courses with hundreds of “how-to” videos (having multiple camera views to show exactly what I’m doing). Some of these include Sewing Fashionistas and Be a Sewing Teacher (where I teach other ladies how to teach sewing classes). But I also new ones in my video production schedule such as Little Fashion Designers, that I'll be doing with my 6-year old daughter.
Out of my years of experience I gained a ton of camera confidence and video production know how (including the tech stuff that overwhelms most ladies). I honestly enjoy and find the entire production process (from start to finish) to be FUN!
And...yes, I do all of my video production myself (but sometimes I get some help on editing since it takes a little time).
A couple years ago I decided to create a program that taught other creative entrepreneurs how to produce and promote online courses. That program called Lights Camera Teach turned out to be a 1-year program (which is honestly how long it usually takes most people), but most people want to do it quicker.
So, I decided that I’d create a shorter program where ladies could get “quick wins” creating their videos without having to commit to much time. And that is where the idea of “The One Woman Show” 8-Week group coaching program came from.

About The "One Woman Show" 8-Week Accelerator Program and My Live Virtual Workshops
The One Woman Show is a 8-Week Accelerator to help you overcome camera fears and easily create your videos (even with the equipment you have available).
In this online training and coaching program, I help lady entrepreneurs and business owners “polish up and shine”. This is NOT a video library with hours of videos. This is a step-by-step acceleration to help you FINALLY create your videos.
It's a high-touch, intense program with lots of chances to role play as you wear all the hats and become who you need to be to create your show.
Expect to be held accountable and take action!
You’ll walk away with the confidence needed to produce your videos as a “One Woman Show” and have everything in place to easily create your first videos.
To introduce you to the One Woman Show, I have a FREE “Wearing All The Hats” Guide that briefly describes the multiple hats you’ll wear to produce your videos without hiring a video production crew.
And to help with the other areas that you may get stuck, I've also created Live Virtual Workshops that dive deeper into specific areas having to do with planning, course and content creation, lead magnets, and branding.
